Ten years ago I was given a gift. I was on board Flight 1549 – which crash landed into the Hudson River on January 15, 2009. On that day, as my plane was crashing, I saw into the future. I saw the things I regretted in my life, what I was sad to lose, and what I wished I could change. I was given the gift of a miracle – of surviving, and of coming back to live differently.
As a lifelong learner, I’m always focused on learning from every conversation and experience. On my new podcast, I’m sharing conversations with world-class CEOs, Hall of Fame athletes, a Nobel Prize winner, and even a Hindu priest. Just like I did on the TED stage, I’ll summarize each conversation with the three things we can all take away from these remarkable people.
Like most things in life, I don’t know where this is going to take us. And I’ll tell you right now – I don’t always agree with my guests. But I do always learn something from a conversation. My hope is by sharing them – you will, too.
